My name is Sandra. I am a Naturalist and Bird Watching Guide at Machalilla National Park and Ayampe River Reserve since 2010. I worked on the Seabird Monitoring Project on Isla de la Plata from 2009 to 2012. This project was implemented by the Foundation Equilibrio Azul in 2008. I also volunteer with bird monitoring in the Rio Ayampe Reserve in assocation with the Jocotoco Foundation.

Presently, I am the coordinator  of the Global Big Day and  The Christmas Bird Count in the Machalilla National Park and the Ayampe River Reserve.
