06:30 We leave from Puerto Lopez for the Sector of Ayampe River Reserve
07:00 Tour of the higher elevations of Ayampe River (for bird watching: Ecuadorian trogon, toucans, parrots, Guayaquil woodpecker, woodcreeper, superciliated wren, Amazilia hummingbirds, kite, Gray-back Hawk, falcons, chachalacas, Tanagers, flycatcher, it is possible to find Esmeraldas Woodstar from December to April, etc.)
10:30 We will rest in an area of the Ayampe River Reserve of the Jocotoco Foundation
11:30 Arrival in the estuary of the Ayampe River for bird watching , green kingfisher, herons, black-necked stilts,variable seedeater etc.
12: 30 We will return to Puerto López
Recommendations: bring rubber boots, hat, repellent, sunscreen, binoculars for birdwatching, sufficient water, comfortable clothes for walk preferably long sleeve shirts.

06:30 We leave from Puerto Lopez for the village of Rio Chico.
07:00 Tour of the Elegant Moon Trail (bird watching: Elegant crescentchest, black cheeked woodpecker, parrots, woodcreeper, supercilieted wren, saffron siskin, hummingbirds, red billed Scythebill, etc.)
08:00 refreshments at Elegant Moon Trail
08:30 Birdwatching such as Hood billed kite, Laughing falcon, hawks, Tanagers, boat billed flycatcher, White backed Fire eyes Antbird. It is possible to see the Spectacled owl and the Royal flycatcher.
12:30 lunch in the Parador Arcos (a la carte)
13:30 end of the program
